Roberson named to All Region 2nd Team and Parsley named to the 1st team as well as the NFCA All American List
The 2019 EvCC Softball season officially came to an end Sunday night when the final NWAC RPI rankings were calculated and had the Trojans at #17, less than two thousandths of a decimal point behind Skagit Valley College at #16 (a team that EvCC beat 3 out of 4 meetings) for the final playoff spot.
After the new RPI rankings came out Monday morning with EvCC Softball ranked #13 (top #16 qualify for post season) the Trojans new that every one of their final 10 games would have a significant impact on whether or not their season is extended or ended on May 13th.
After two big wins on the road last week at Skagit Valley, the Trojans returned home, now ranked #15 in the RPI for an important doubleheader against #16 ranked Pierce College.
The Trojans put together two dominate performances on the road yesterday in Mt. Vernon against Skagit Valley College.
After a tough doubleheader last weekend against #1 ranked Bellevue in which the Trojans lost both games, EvCC softball looked to get back into the win column against Shoreline.
Everett split vs #3 ranked Douglas College on the Road Friday evening, and then lost two at home vs #1 ranked Bellevue College
Former Trojan Megan Dedrick has been on fire for the West Coast Conference Loyola Marymount Lions.
The Trojans traveled to Des Moines, WA on Saturday afternoon to take on the Thunderbirds of Highline College. Both teams were coming off of two north region opener losses and searching for their first wins and hopefully to get back to .500.
Experience got the better of the Trojans as they dropped both games, the first 15-5 and the second 12-4.
Trojans open up the season 1-2 on the weekend with one game suspended due to weather.
Freshman Shortstop, and North Region MVP Megan Dedrick signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball next season at Division I Loyola Marymount University.

The Trojans are headed back to the NWAC Championship Tournament for the 5th time in the last 6 years.
