The weather and course conditions were absolutely perfect at the 2022 NWAC Cross Country Championships at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, WA.  The course played host to the NCAA West Regional Finals a day prior but even with over 460 runners, the lack of rain kept the grass solid and by the 11:00am race time the crisp autumn morning temperature had risen to over 50 degrees with blue sky and sunshine...

The Northwest Region Championship men's and women's cross country races were hosted by Green River College at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley, WA.  It was a beautiful, calm, and crisp autumn day for a race in what would be the final preparation before the NWAC Championship Meet.  Participating schools were Whatcom CC, Olympic College, Edmonds College, Pierce College (women only), Green River College, and EvCC...

The Trojan cross country teams traveled to Oregon over the weekend to run in the Lewis & Clark Invite, the largest meet of the year consisting of over 600 combined runners in the men's and women's collegiate races.  And while neither the men nor the women fielded enough runners to score team points, it was a valuable experience for the freshman to participate in such large races with so many runners varying from NCAA DI, down to a number of NWAC competitors....

Lacey, WA - On a foggy November morning, the NWAC Cross Country Championships were held on the beautiful campus of Saint Martin's University in Lacey, WA for the 5th consecutive season.  The cool fall air presented favorable conditions for the runners, albeit slightly chilly for a good sized crowd.

Trojan Cross Country and Track & Field will have a new leader at the helm for the 2019-2020 season.  Head Coach Tansey Lystad will be stepping down after serving as the head of the program for the last two seasons. Taking over will be former EvCC assistant coach Julian Bardwell.

Everett CC Cross Country had their first race of the season on Saturday at the Ken Garland Classic hosted by St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA.  This served as a preview to the NWAC Championship meet that will take place on November 10th with the exact same course for both the women's 5k and the men's 8k.
