1994-95 Men’s Basketball
In 1994-95, Coach Larry Walker led his men’s basketball team to the NWAAC league championship game. The team showed its ability to play well when it mattered, winning the final four games in the regular season to qualify for the playoffs. Once in, they went out and beat both the number one and number two ranked teams in the conference to advance to the title game. The team’s second-place finish was the highest in many years for the program. Players on the team included Chad Baransky, Jason Creek, Bary Gould, Desi Szechenyi, David Bloom, Alfred Harvey, Rusty Houston, Maurio Lewis, Michael Pederson, Brad Victor, Peter Ventrella, and Zach Ward. Walker was assisted by Jim Elsner and Mark Williams.
