Bio
Galmo Said- A second year competitor for the Trojans, Galmo originally comes from Franklin HS. He placed 22nd in the 2017 NWAC XC Championships, and has run 27:57 for 8k. He also ran track for the Trojans in the 2018 season, setting the team lead in both the 800 and 1500 meters with a a 2:09.34 and 4:18.56 respectively.

The EvCC Track and Field program traveled to Bellingham this weekend to compete in the 38th annual Ralph Vernacchia Track and Field meet hosted by Western Washington University.
The rain and wind was a constant factor in most if not all of the events at Saturday's Jay Hammer Invitational Track and Field Meet hosted by St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA. NWAC athletes and teams participating included Mt. Hood CC of Gresham, OR, Green River College of Auburn, WA, Clark College of Vancouver, WA and Olympic College of Bremerton, WA.
It was a rainy day in Tacoma as EvCC competed at the Shotwell Invitational hosted by the University of Puget Sound. Though the weather was not optimal for performance several Trojans had strong showings including an NWAC leading time, two event wins, and multiple potential championship qualifiers. Both the men's teams and the women's team's finished 4th in total team points.
Everett Community College track and field competed at the Doris Heritage Invitational on the campus of Seattle Pacific University this past weekend against top level four-year universities including the University of Washington.

In the final meet of the season, the Trojan's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams were ready to compete at the NWAC Championship meet on a course that they had seen earlier this season. This year marked the 3rd straight year that the NWAC Championship meet was hosted on the campus of St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA.
On a beautiful, crisp October morning the Everett CC Men's and Women's Cross Country teams were ready for a top level performance. Will Tucker Park in Snohomish, WA was the setting for the Norwest Region Championship Cross Country Meet featuring men's and women's NWAC teams from Green River College, Olympic College, and Everett Community College.
Saturday marked the second race of the season for the men's and women's cross country programs, hosted by Willamette University at Bush Park in Salem, Oregon.
Everett CC Cross Country had their first race of the season on Saturday at the Ken Garland Classic hosted by St. Martin's University in Lacey, WA. This served as a preview to the NWAC Championship meet that will take place on November 10th with the exact same course for both the women's 5k and the men's 8k.
