The weather and course conditions were absolutely perfect at the 2022 NWAC Cross Country Championships at Chambers Creek Regional Park in University Place, WA. The Northwest Region Championship men's and women's cross country races were hosted by Green River College at Lake Wilderness Park in Maple Valley, WA. The Trojan cross country teams traveled to Oregon over the weekend to run in the Lewis & Clark Invite, the largest meet of the year consisting of over 600 combined runners in the men's and women's collegiate races. And while neither the men nor the women fielded enough runners to score team points, it was a valuable experience for the freshman to participate in such large races with so many runners varying from NCAA DI, down to a number of NWAC competitors....
The Everett Community College cross country program got its first look at the course that will host the 2022 NWAC Championship meet on November 12th, competing in the John Payne/Curtis Invitational Saturday at Chambers Creek Regional Park.
