Michalopoulos & Rabena Move Up Performance List
The Everett Community College Trojans put in some work this Friday at the Whitworth Peace Meet with more PR's and several individuals climbing up the ladder on the NWAC performance List, highlighted by Sophia Michalopoulos who posted a 12.80 100m time that moved her up to #4 in the NWAC and Alexander Rabena who ran 49.99 in the 400m and is now ranked #3.

Women's Recap
The Trojan sprinters were out in force, led by freshman Sophia Michalopoulos, who posted a sharp 12.80 in the 100m to lead the Everett contingent. Haddyjattou Ceesay proved to be the team's ultimate utility speedster, tackling the 200m and 400m double.

The Distance Crew
In the middle-distance races, Teagan Pentz and Lily Rock were the definition of a "dynamic duo." Both sophomores pulled a demanding double in the 800m and 1500m, finishing within seconds of each other in both events—showing some serious pack-running chemistry.
Meanwhile, the 10,000m crew proved they have ice in their veins, with Taya Kilgore leading a trio of Trojans through 25 laps of work.

800m: Lily Rock (2:32.45) and Teagan Pentz (2:34.06) finished back-to-back (40th and 41st).

1500m: Pentz flipped the script here, finishing in 5:09.43 with Rock right on her heels at 5:10.45.

10,000m: Taya Kilgore paced the squad with a 43:36.92, followed by Amelia Koon (45:46.99) and Ariel Rodriguez Garcia (48:17.82).
Hurdles & Relays
Sophomore Madeline Dang carried the torch for the hurdles unit, showing technical proficiency in both the 100m and 400m distances.

100m Hurdles: Dang clocked a 16.51, securing 17th place overall.

400m Hurdles: She returned to the track to post a 1:12.63.
The day concluded with the 4x400 Relay, where the quartet of Dang, Spencer, Pentz, and Rock joined forces. After a long day of individual events, they dug deep to clock a 4:36.92, ensuring Everett CC left its mark on the relay standings.

Men's Recap
Sprints & Hurdles
The highlight of the sprints came from Alexander Rabena, who cracked the 50-second barrier in the 400m for the first time, clocking a blistering 49.99a (PB). He also led the charge in the 200m with a 22.20a (PB).

100m: Darrich Sitthivong led the Trojan trio with an 11.77a, followed by Rieal Villamena (11.90a SB) and Romero Lago (12.02a PB).

200m: Following Rabena, Rieal Villamena (24.06a SB), Anthoney Ray-Kirk (24.46a SB), and Romero Lago (24.88a PB) all posted strong marks.

400m: Behind Rabena's sub-50 performance, Anthoney Ray-Kirk (54.55a SB) and Jacob Doughty (55.07a PB) delivered solid points.

400m Hurdles: Gus Westendorf battled through the technical event to finish in 1:15.50a.
Distance & Mid-Distance
The distance crew was on "PB watch" all afternoon, with nearly every Trojan runner setting a new career mark.

800m: Luke Taylor nearly dipped under the 2-minute mark, finishing in 2:00.36a (PB). He was supported by strong runs from William Pyeatt (2:02.90a PB) and Zayne Cola (2:06.22a PB).

1500m: Kenenisa Udo paced the Trojans with a 4:12.35a (PB), while Hector Mendoza followed closely with a 4:17.80a (PB).

5000m: Charlie Roberts took on the 12.5-lap grind, finishing in 16:54.96a.
Field Events
The Trojans' strength was on full display in the throws and jumps, where consistency was the name of the game.

Throws: Ilya Grabovsky had a busy day, recording a 12.26m PB in Shot Put and a 38.90m toss in the Discus. Avery Brennan led the Discus crew with a throw of 39.61m. In the Javelin, Nathen Nippert launched a 43.24m (PB).

Jumps: Ross Fryberg had a standout day in the vertical and horizontal jumps, clearing 1.73m (PB) in the High Jump and hitting 5.53m (PB) in the Long Jump. Kahlil Richards leaped to a 6.04m (PB) in the Long Jump to lead the team.

Pole Vault: Justice Funston cleared a respectable 4.29m, showing great technical form.
Relays
Relay chemistry was high as the Trojans fielded teams in both the 4x100m and 4x400m.
