Bio

A’Laisia Redden is entering her 1st season as the Assistant Coach for Everett Community College Women’s volleyball program. A’Laisia is coming from a 4-year Assistant Coaching position with the Mount Vernon High School volleyball program. 

Previously, A’Laisia played in the NWAC as the starting libero for Shoreline Community College. She attended Shoreline Community College and played for the volleyball team during the 2014 and 2015 seasons. A’Laisia was fortunate enough to get to play alongside her sister, and now fellow Assistant Coach M’Kailah Redden, her freshman season at Shoreline. During her Sophomore year A’Laisia and her team became the NWAC North Region Champions and took 5th place overall in the NWAC tournament.

A’Laisia transferred to Skagit Valley College and graduated with her Associate of Arts degree, and is now completing and graduating this year with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. She plans to begin working as an Elementary School Teacher upon graduating. 

A’Laisia is excited to be joining the coaching staff at the collegiate level and hopes to make a huge impact especially on the defensive side of the court.
