Shoreline, WA - Everett Community College's women's soccer team put together a commanding performance on the road Saturday, defeating Shoreline Community College 18–0. The Trojans controlled possession from the opening whistle, with eight different players finding the back of the net. Chloe Parker led the way with a hat trick, while Lucy Soriano-Sanchez, Genesis Molina Escobar, Symantha Rangel, and Zaida Woods each tallied two goals.
Shoreline was outmatched, but goalkeeper Hermella Embaye made 9 saves under constant pressure. In total there were 36 shots by the Trojan offense, and 27 were on frame.
Sophomore Chloe Parker's 3-goal performance brought her season total up to 7 leading the Trojans on the season and 10 in her career.
With the win, Everett picks up their first north region victory and will look to ride that momentum into the T-Trophy rivalry match on Wednesday against Edmonds College. The Tritons are 3-3-1 on the season and earned a well-deserved draw against a ranked Bellevue side. Kick off is set for 7:30pm at Everett Memorial Stadium.
