2024-2025 EvCC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Year
Local sophomore Ruby Wacker from Everett high school started at goalkeeper for the Trojans in 13 of 14 matches this season, tallying 49 saves and 3 shutouts on a 64% save percentage. She made a career high 14 saves in a single game, and ended her Trojan career with 106 saves over 23 matches which is 3rd all time at EvCC. Ruby also played on the women’s basketball team and scored 4 huge points off the bench in the thrilling 65-61 win over Shoreline. Ruby is a seven time academic honor roll recipient with four, 4.0 quarters on the presidents list. This year she has served on the student athlete leadership council and will be graduating with honors this spring with plans to pursue a bachelor's of science degree in biology.
