The Trojans hosted first place Whatcom (7-1 in conference) Saturday night. The Trojans started out strong leading after the first quarter 13-11 but Whatcom quickly showed why they are number one in the conference as they outscored the Trojans 20-11 in the second to take a 7-point lead by half.
Hannah Hezekiah went into today's game needing just 11 points to join the 1,000-point club. Hannah led the Trojans with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Alexa Martin recorded a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds on the night. Other leading scorers for the Trojans were Kelsey Mellick with 10 points and Morgan Marshall with 9 points.
The Trojans were outscored 47 to 36 in the second half as they would go on to lose by a score of 78-60.
