The Trojans took on Whatcom in their first home league game Saturday night in front of a full crowd at Walt Price. Both teams took the floor looking for their first league win. The Trojans played the game with only 6 and had 5 playing over 35 minutes. The first half was played like Trojan basketball. Fast paced and a lot of pressure full court. The Trojans defense held Whatcom to shoot only 37% from the field and forced 27 turnovers.
Hannah Hezekiah had some big shots for the Trojans ending up with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Morgan Marshall played big finishing with a double-double on the night tallying 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Serafina was able to set the pace for the Trojans pushing the ball and setting the tone on defense. Serafina finished with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 steals on the night.
