2024-2025 EvCC Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Year

Reda Long joined the Trojans for the spring track and field season specializing in the distance events but was also a member of the women’s 4x400m relay team that finished 6th at the NWAC Championships.  Reda took first at the Linfield Open setting a PR of 19:09.08 in the 5000m, and also took first place in both the 1500m and 5000m races at the Northwest Regional Track and Field Championships.  She entered the NWAC Championships ranked 8th in the 1500m, 4th in the 5000m, and 2nd in the 10,000m.  Reda took on three grueling events at the NWAC Championships, a big challenge for any distance runner. She became EvCC's lone All-American by placing 2nd in the 10,000m on day one, setting a lifetime best by 1:12. On day two, she placed 4th in the 5,000m and later ran the third leg of the 4x400m relay, making a huge move to lift the team from 7th to 6th.   Reda made the Academic Honor Roll  Dean’s List in winter quarter.
