Trojans Rebound to Run-Rule #7 Bellevue

The Everett Community College Trojans secured a hard-fought split in their April 4 double-header against the NWAC #7 ranked Bellevue College Bulldogs. After dropping a defensive battle in the series opener, Everett's bats exploded in the nightcap to dismantle the ranked Bulldogs in a five-inning run-rule victory.

Game 1: Bellevue 7, Everett 1

The opener was a pitcher's duel through the first three innings, highlighted by Everett's Monroe Dalrymple launching a solo home run in the bottom of the 3rd to give the Trojans a 1-0 lead.

However, the Bellevue offense found its rhythm in the 4th, putting up five runs on four hits, including a two-RBI triple by Shannon Tierney. Bellevue's Ava Jeretzky stayed dominant in the circle, tossing a complete game and holding the Trojans to just six hits while striking out eight.

Game 2: Everett 12, Bellevue 4 (5 Innings)

Everett flipped the script in Game 2, answering Bellevue's early pressure with a relentless offensive barrage. Trailing 2-1 in the 2nd, the Trojans capitalized on an error to extend the inning and plate four runs, headlined by Kendall Pahl's two-RBI double.

The power display peaked in the 4th and 5th innings. Kylee Horan, Kendall Pahl, and Renee Riggins all went deep for the Trojans. Riggins and Pahl combined for 7 RBIs, providing more than enough support for Monroe Dalrymple, who earned the win in the circle. The game ended early via the run rule after Amanda Webb laced a two-RBI single to make it 12-4.
