Shoreline, WA - The Everett Trojans put together one of their most complete performances of the season on Wednesday night, rolling past Shoreline 81–65 on the road behind efficient offense and balanced scoring. Everett set the tone early with a 39–31 halftime lead and never let the momentum slip, outscoring the Dolphins again in the second half to secure the convincing conference win. The Trojans shot an impressive 56.5 percent from the floor, consistently finding high-quality looks and capitalizing in transition and the paint.
Five Trojans reached double figures, led by Noah Parker, who delivered a near-perfect night offensively with 19 points on 8-for-9 shooting while also pulling down a team-high 10 rebounds for a double-double. Bubba Palacol added 18 points, four assists, two steals, and a block while knocking down 6-of-7 from the free-throw line, controlling the tempo for Everett throughout the night. Ro'Darius Bryant continued his strong play with 17 points on 8-of-15 shooting, while Anthony Najera chipped in 13 points, six rebounds, and four assists. Darious Turner rounded out the balanced attack with 10 points and solid defense on the perimeter.
Everett also won the battle on the glass, outrebounding Shoreline 33–28, and took care of the basketball with just nine turnovers on the night. The Trojans' efficiency contrasted sharply with Shoreline's 37.7 percent shooting, as Everett's defensive pressure forced tough shots and limited second-chance opportunities. With contributions up and down the lineup and a dominant shooting performance, the Trojans showcased their depth and cohesion in a strong road victory that builds momentum heading into the heart of conference play.
Everett will enjoy a bye weekend, before prepping for the 2nd round of north region action. EvCC hosts Whatcom next Wednesday at the Walt Price Center with sites set on avening an earlier season overtime loss to the Orcas in Bellingham. A win will put Everett firmly in 4th place in the north region standings, and in position to qualifying for the NWAC playoffs for the second time under 3rd year head coach Daniel Thompson. Tip off is set for 5:00pm.
