The Trojans Men's Basketball team (16-3) traveled to face Peninsula (13-3) Saturday night. The Trojans looked to win their 4th straight game.
The first half for the Trojans started off slow as they shot 32.1% from the field, 12.5% from three scoring 23 points. They were trailing by 7 points going into the second half.
The second half the Trojans started to get hot hitting 62.5% from the field, 63.6% from three and scoring 49, almost double the first half. Bobby Martin led the team in points with 24. Piol Makuei and Elijah Seybold both led the team with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Devin Smith, Piol Makuei, and Elijah Seybold all ended the night with double-digit points.
With 8 minutes left the Trojans went on a 10-0 run to take the lead at 51-48. For the rest of the night the Trojans kept were able to hold on and keep the lead. They ended the night winning by 11 points. The Trojans are now 4-1 in conference play and look to continue their win streak against Bellevue on Wednesday night.
