Trojans Lead NWAC in Several Categories & Sweep Grays Harbor

Everett, WA – In the final weekend before north region play begins, the Trojans hosted Grays Harbor College for a three-game series at home.  Everett continued their offensive prowess scoring 37 runs on 28 hits, drew 35 walks and stole 25 bases over the three games and swept the Chokers on the weekend. 

The Trojans now lead several offensive statistical categories in the NWAC including stolen bases (75), walks drawn (127), on base percentage (.451), RBI's (133), home runs (11), runs scored (165), ERA (2.47) strikeouts per nine innings pitched (9.88), and walk/hits per innings pitched (1.04).

As good as Everett has been playing to start the year (now with a 17-2 overall record), the stats wont matter as north region play gets underway March 23 & 24 at Funko Field.  First a doubleheader against Douglas on Sunday, followed by a Monday doubleheader against Skagit Valley.

Game 1 Final Score: Everett 10, Grays Harbor 0

Game Recap: Everett cruised start to finish, recording their 4^th shutout of the season.

• Everett's Colin Beazizo led the way, going 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored, an RBI, and 2 stolen bases.
• Micah Coleman contributed with a solid performance, driving in a run while scoring twice.
• Nate Davis delivered 2 RBIs and went 2-for-3 at the plate.
• Cal Pickhardt added 3 RBIs to the Everett scoreboard.

Pitching Dominance:

• AJ Hendrickson delivered a stellar outing, pitching 8 shutout innings with only 2 hits allowed, striking out 2 and walking just 1 to earn the win (4-0 record).

• 1st Inning: Everett's offense struck early, with a 2-RBI single from Cal Pickhardt followed by a 2-RBI double from Luka Ruljancich to give Everett a commanding 4-0 lead.
• 5th Inning: A passed ball allowed Beazizo to score, followed by a groundout RBI from Pickhardt for a 6-0 advantage.
• 6th Inning: Beazizo singled home a run, and Davis drove in two more to extend the lead to 9-0.
• 8th Inning: Micah Coleman capped the scoring with an RBI single, closing the game at 10-0.

Game 2 Final Score: Everett 9, Grays Harbor 4

Game Recap: Everett took control early and maintained their lead despite a late push by Grays Harbor, securing a 9-4 victory.
