The Trojan baseball team was back in full swing after COVID-19 cut the 2020 season short after just 7 games. The 2021 season has a 36 game slate scheduled to play four schools in the North region a total of 8 times. The first opponent was Olympic College in a Saturday home doubleheader that was followed by a Sunday road doubleheader.
In four games, the Trojans outscored Olympic 33 runs to 4, taking games one and two by scores of 12-2 and 12-1. The road games featured less scoring, but the same dominate defense and Everett prevailed by scores of 6-2 and 3-0.
Everett will be back in action this weekend in a four game home stand versus Bellevue College. Game 1 starts on Saturday at Everett Memorial Stadium at 2pm.
