2012 Women’s Cross Country
As the 2012 cross country season developed, it soon became obvious that the Everett Community College women’s team would be the top-ranked team. Runners Marren Haneberg, Katie Strong, Veronica Hall, Rachel Cundy, Cathie Arrigoni, Danielle Friend, and Kristina Cordy led the team to a first place finish in the NWAACC Crosss Country Championships held in Spokane. Their first-place score of 21 was 27 points ahead of second place Spokane. Coach Matt Koenigs was selected the NWAACC women’s coach of the year.
