Sarafina Balderas, Women's Basketball

It was a tough week for the Trojans, dropping two in a row in conference play, but a bright spot was the play of Serafina Balderas and she was selected in back to back weeks as the female Trojan Athlete of the Week.  In two games vs Olympic College and Peninsula College, Serafina averaged 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals per game for the Trojans including 75% from the free throw line, making 9-12. 

The highlight came in Saturday's loss to Peninsula, when Serafina scored a career high 34 points, shooting 41%.  That marks the 10th highest single game scoring record all time for the Trojans.
