Myah Galdeira, Women's Basketball

Myah Galdeira has been named the Female Athlete of the Week. She is a freshman guard from Kailua High School in Waimanalo, Hawaii on the Women's Basketball team. This past weekend the Trojans played in three non-league games in the 29th Annual EvCC Women's Classic. In those three games, Myah scored 14 points, 15 points and 12 points for 41 points on the weekend. She also shot 39% from the field, 75% from the free throw line, had 16 rebounds, and 13 steals. Overall for the season, Myah has 23 steals which is 4th in the NWAC, she is averaging 10.8 points a game, and is shooting 80% from the free throw line. Coach Franco had these words to say about Myah - "Myah is a steady presence for us. She did a great job letting the game come to her, showed tremendous leadership all weekend., and competed at a high level to give us the best chance to win. She continues to grow each week, and it shows in the way she impacts the game on both ends."
