Karlee-Rose Keale, Softball

This week's Female Athlete of the Week is Karlee-Rose Keale, a freshman on the softball team that is a right-handed pitcher/infielder from Kapa'a High School in Lihue, HI. Last weekend in the four non-league games (two games at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, OR and two games at Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA), Karlee-Rose pitched and also played 3rd base for the Trojans. On the weekend she pitched 15 innings, facing 77 batters, walking 9, and striking out 6. She went 4 for 6 batting against Clackamas and in game two with Clackamas she threw 69 strikesout of 122 pitches, while in the second game with Lower Columbia she threw 46 strikes out of the 80 pitches she threw. Ocerall on the season, Karlee-Rose has pitched in 6 games with a record of 1 win 3 losses. Her batting average and her Slugging Percentage is .333, with her On Base Percentage at .368.
