Bubba Palacol, Men's Basketball

Bubba Palacol, a freshman guard on the Men's Basketball Team from Marysville-Getchell High School in Marysville, WA is this week's Male Athlete of the Week. Bubba had two great games against Peninsula and Edmonds, with 21 points and 20 points respectfully. In these two games he shoe 16 for 29 from the field (55.2%), 2 for 10 from the three point line (20%) and 7 for 7 (100%) from the free throw line. On the season, Bubba is 1st in the NWAC in minutes played and minutes per game, 2nd in points scored with 441 (averaging 21.0 points/game), 4th in field goals made (158/317 = 49.8%), 7th in free throws made (84/98 = 85.7%). His 85.7% free throw percentage is 7th in the NWAC, and his 90 assists is 5th in the NWAC while his 31 steals is 15th.
