The Trojan Men's Basketball team hosted Puget Sound on the campus of Everett Community College's Larry Walker Court. The Trojans started the game hot coming out of the gate full speed. Puget Sound was able to keep up with Everett's fast paced tempo and go into halftime up 44-37.
Markieth Brown Jr. shot well for the Trojans putting up 27 on the night. Markieth shot 7-19 from the field while going 9-11 from the stripe. Jon Parker had a huge game for the Trojans as he put away a team high 29 on 10-19 shooting. Two points shy of closing out with a double-double Magnus Jesperson had 8 points with 10 rebounds on the night.
As the second half got going, Puget Sound found its stride shooting 47% from 3-point land. With 3 players putting up a 20-point night, the Trojans fell to Puget Sound 95-79. The Trojans look to bounce back with a win tomorrow night.
